Blue Canoe

Got a good envelope today! This one had the Highlights High Five logo in the upper left hand corner. Inside was the edited copy for a poem I wrote who knows when. Anyway, Kathleen Hayes, the editor at High Five, graciously offered her ideas for illustration and text changes. She suggested that I might contact her if I had questions or concerns. It looked great and it felt great to be a part of the editorial process. It’s going to feel even better when Blue Canoe comes out as a mini-book in July 2010.
